Education

I have a Bachelor of Education from McGill University in Teaching English as a Second Language. I have completed my English and French exams for Teacher Certification (Cefranc and CEETC), and I have successfully completed 2 internships during my years at McGill. The first stage was at Ecole Secondaire Felix-Leclerc in Pointe-Claire, and my second stage was at Ecole Primaire Beau-Sejour in Ville-Saint-Laurent.

Experience

I am currently a 4th year McGill student and I am completing my 3rd stage in the Elementary level. So, I know exactly what your child will be evaluated on in English and can work to prepare them for the evaluations. I have many years of tutoring experience. I love working with children and young adolescents. Tutoring provides me with the opportunity to help them succeed academically. Although my major is English, I have previously tutored French at the elementary level. I have also done quite a bit of volunteering. Similarly, Volunteering at the Project Communautaire de Pierrefonds (which is an after-school program for children) gave me the desire to want to become an educator. I am also very patient and I will ensure to make your son or daughter feel comfortable learning English/French in a fun and interactive manner.
