I received my Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario in Biology, Bioinformatics, and Neuroscience. I also have had postdoctoral training in human genetics and biochemistry. I was a Postdoctoral fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a research scientist at McGill. Finally, I was a Professor of Biology at Concordia University.
